"I am an Agronomist graduated at UFSCAR, in Brazil. Currently I am a sale supervisor at Naandanjain, a multinational company specialized in crop irrigation. I work in the central western of Brazil.
In 2015, I did an internship at the farm McLendon Acres Inc in Georgia, United States.
During my internship I received hands on training and experience with irrigation scheduling and technology, soil sampling, planting, crop protection and fertility. I also traveled to a number of agriculture related meetings and events which provided a great networking opportunity with Universities, researchers and agribusinesses in the US.
Beyond the technical experience, my English improved a lot, and I became friends with the host and his family and we remain in contact over 3 years later.

"My name is Natalia Bevilaqua. I am an Agronomist, graduated at UFSCar, in Brazil. During my under graduation, I did a six-month internship at McLendon Acres Inc, in Georgia, United States.
In my internship I followed up all the field planing and operations at the company. In the production, I was involved in the planing and activities in corn, peanut and cotton, such as soil sampling, soil preparation, management of weeds, insects and disease, planting, and fertilization. In addition I was responsible for the irrigation management, collecting data for water requirement. In the research activities, I attended meetings and field days. Also I helped the team in installing and monitoring new technologies trials, which was a partnership with the University of Georgia, being in touch with students and professors. At the far, I was involved in acitivities of supply storage as well.
This internship was a constructive experience for my personal development and gave me essential learning for my professional growth.".
